Toronto, Ontario (My Sportsbook) - The Toronto Raptors try to end a five-game slide when they welcome the New York Knicks to Air Canada Centre. New York has dropped six of its last seven games and is coming off a 106-88 home loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday. Allan Houston scored 32 points, but the Knicks couldn't deal with the much larger Timberwolves inside. "Their big guys were dominant," Latrell Sprewell said. "You have me at [small forward] guarding Trent or KG, it makes it very difficult. Me guarding KG is a huge mismatch." The Knicks have been a brutal road team this season, losing all four of their games away from Madison Square Garden. New York is just 1-8 within the Eastern Conference. Toronto is coming off a 94-84 setback at the hands of the Philadelphia 76ers. Alvin Williams paced the Raptors with 25 points, but Allen Iverson's 37-point effort was too much for Toronto. "I've never been a go-to guy," Williams said. Toronto's go-to guy, Vince Carter, remains sidelined with a quadriceps injury. The Raptors are 3-4 at home and have a 3-5 mark within the Eastern Conference. This is the first meeting of the season between the teams. New York has won four straight regular-season clashes over Toronto after a six-game series slide. The Knicks lead the all-time series 16-9.
