Porto, Portugal (My Sportsbook) - FC Porto striker Derlei injured his right knee during a friendly and could miss several matches, including next week's Super Cup match against UEFA Cup champion Valencia. The 29-year-old Brazilian was taken off the field on a stretcher during a friendly against Boavista on Sunday. He is almost certain to miss Porto's Portuguese Super Cup match against Benfica on Friday. Derlei will miss the match due to a second degree partial rupture of the interior collateral ligament. He is expected to be out three or four weeks. The Brazilian star was also forced to sit out a majority of last season due to a knee injury. He did, however, return in time to help Porto to the Champions League title.
